Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This policy explains how Shield InfoSec ("Shield", "we", "us") handles information when you visit this website or contact us about our services. It applies to website visitors and people who contact Shield by email.
2. Information We Collect
The enquiry form runs in your browser and opens your default email application with the details you entered in a draft addressed to info@shieldsecurity.co.in. It does not submit those details to a Shield web server, and nothing is sent to Shield unless you choose to send the email. If you email us, we receive the contents of your message and any personal information you choose to include. The website currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts; requests for those files may disclose ordinary connection information to Google. Hosting, domain and delivery providers may also process technical request information as part of serving and securing the site. The current website code does not include a site analytics platform or an advertising tracker.
3. How We Use It
- To respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, provide the agreed services
- To manage proposals, agreements, invoices and service communications
- To meet applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, protect the security of our services, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary
- We do not operate a marketing newsletter through this website. If that changes, we will update this notice and seek consent where required by applicable law.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate (for example, email or hosting providers), and only to the extent needed to provide our services or as required by law.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry and engagement information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, deliver agreed services, meet legal, accounting or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention can vary by record type. Email providers or backups may retain copies under their own retention controls. You may email us to request deletion; any request is subject to applicable legal, security and contractual retention requirements.
6. Privacy Requests and Concerns
You may email us to ask about personal information related to your enquiry or request its correction or deletion. We will review and respond to requests under applicable law and any legal or contractual retention requirements. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and its Rules have phased commencement; statutory rights and obligations apply as the relevant provisions come into force. To raise a privacy concern, email info@shieldsecurity.co.in with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
